Experience
Producer and mixer, Allan Keen, has 25+ years experience in the music industry. Working initially as house engineer at Bristol's Coach House Studios, then as Studio Manager working with artists such as Neneh Cherry, Massive Attack, The Black Earth, Hunted, The Korgies, and, the then emerging Bristol band, Portishead. Allan's freelance career later saw him working with live theatre sound tours, recording live concerts, brass sections, string and orchestral sections, studio bands and solo artists. In 2015, he co-wrote, recorded, produced and then released Lady Nade's debut album 'Hard to Forget'.
Allan has a background in Teaching and Education and is in demand as a music industry assessor/consultant for some of the premier Music Technology and Audio Production courses at Universities around the UK.
Strings To The Bow
Allan can create orchestrated stems for any track. Working with extensive professional sample libraries from Spitfire Audio and Native Instruments to provide a orchestral shine to your tracks. Need something smaller? A string quartet or brass section? He can arrange and record those as well.
Songwriting Guidance

KStudio Records
It started life as 'Kitchen Studio Records' to release Lady Nade's debut album, we discovered the kitchen at our studio at the time sounded wonderful for vocals, and strangely: double basses! The label needed a name.
We no longer have that kitchen due to a move but now KStudio Records is here if you need help with your release. KStudio Records can take you through the whole project or give you guidance on the parts of the process you need help with.
